This echoes something I’ve thought privately for a while. From an end-user point of view their’s barely any functional difference between cloud apps and desktop apps, or between cloud infrastructure and local infrastructure.
Soon we’ll stop thinking about the difference between cloud computing and other types of computing. That way the cloud part of the name becomes redundant, we’ll just talk about computing.
