There’s chatter on Twitter this morning whinging about Apple releasing a new iPad only six months after the third generation model.
Some who bought the earlier model say they feel cheated. That’s idiotic.
If you bought the device for a specific application, that will carry on working for years to come. You didn’t waste your money.
The newer model may have a faster processor and better mobile connection speeds. If either are vital to your application, then you purchased the wrong thing last time around. That’s nobody else’s fault.
I suspect some of the whinging is from people who simply have to own the latest Apple kit because they are either hooked into an unhealthy technology dependency or because they suffer from low self-esteem problems.
Disclosure: There’s a third generation iPad at Bennett Towers and nobody here is unhappy about that.
