Commonsense leadership for new managers
It's hard to argue with any of the 15 points in the lead well and prosper list shown here. They pretty much square with everything I've written on Knowledge Workers. If you can tick off all these points every week, you'll be way ahead of every other manager. And while it's written for new managers, it wouldn't hurt experienced managers to follow this recipe.
The list comes from the book Lead Well and Prosper: 15 Strategies for Becoming a Good Manager by Nick McCormick.
Thanks to Anthony Portuesi at drivenleaders.com for drawing my attention to this. You can read Anthony's review of McCormick's book at: Common Sense Leadership for New Managers
