NZ Tech Podcast 573 – clearing fog, robots and Twitter

I’m back on the New Zealand Tech Podcast with Paul Spain. This week we discuss a couple of local innovations: airport fog-busting and fruit-picking robots. We also talk about the large tech companies insisting employees return to the office after working from home.

There’s talk about the implications of Elon Musk taking a sizeable stake in Twitter and discussion about the UK government getting into the NFT game.

It’s going to upset some listeners, but at one point I talk about why the New Zealand government needs to have someone with technology expertise sitting at the top table. It’s not a new idea, but one that is well overdue.
