Paul Spain acquires an Apple Watch in Los Angeles and spends time with Apple's new MacBook.

We talk about the Microsoft Surface 3 which comes close to getting the Windows tablet and touch-screen laptop format right, but is expensive when you consider how much conventional laptop you can get for the same price.

There's more hardware in the shape of Huawei TalkBand B2 which is quite different from the current crop of smart watches to the point of being idiosyncratic.

Also on this week's agenda I talk about my time at the Open Source Open Society Conference in Wellington. The podcast also covers the Xero financial result, Internet speeds and Netflix, Uber price increases.
