OneNote improves for web users

Microsoft’s OneNote is great for note-taking, storing and organising snippets of information.

There are great apps for smartphones and a Windows-only version that now comes as part of Microsoft Office for the operating system.

OneNote gets a little harder for those of us who use a non-Windows laptop but not much harder now that there is a decent Office web application.

Over the weekend Microsoft refreshed the web version with a simpler interface.

In the past finding notebooks meant digging around in SkyDrive – now called OneDrive. Now you can log-in to onenote.com to get immediate access to your notebooks.

The change – and SkyDrive’s rebranding – are all part of a bigger refresh of Microsoft’s online apps which apparently will go by the name of Office Online.
